What awaits you

 

  • Overseeing the management, deployment, and maintenance of software applications within an organization. This role ensures that applications are efficiently deployed, well-maintained, and aligned with business needs
  • Designing and deploying the necessary cloud infrastructure, e.g. cloud rooms, storage, networking, security configurations
  • Deploying the new Shopfloor Core Solutions on the cloud infrastructure
  • Ensuring seamless integration between the cloud-based solutions and the existing systems
  • Building up a seamless application monitoring
  • Overseeing the deployment of new applications and updates.
  • Collaborating with development and IT teams to ensure smooth application deployment processes.
  • Developing deployment plans and schedules to minimize disruption to users.
  • Configuring applications to meet business needs, including setting up user roles, permissions, and integrating other software systems as required.
  • Adjusting settings based on user feedback and operational requirements.
  • Ensuring the application is optimized for performance, security, and usability.
  • Providing ongoing support and troubleshooting for applications to ensure uptime and functionality.
  • Working with the IT and support teams to resolve application issues and handle user queries.
  • Coordinating application updates, patches, and upgrades.
  • Collaborating with business stakeholders to understand their needs and ensure the application meets those requirements.
  • Communicating with end-users and providing training on new features or updates.
  • Documenting application configurations, deployment procedures, and any changes made to the system.
  • Ensuring applications adhere to company policies, industry standards, and regulatory compliance.

 

What should you bring along

 

  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
  • Minimum 5-7 years of experience in a similar position
  • Project or Product management experience and proven knowledge on release management
  • Ideally, Release management knowledge with involvement of Vendors management
  • Ideally, first experience in the cloud environment
  • Practical experience operating production-critical systems
  • Experience with agile software development tools (e.g. Jira, Confluence)
  • Analytical thinking and strong problem-solving, negotiation, prioritization and decision-making skills
  • Excellent English verbal and written skills
