What awaits you 

 

We are seeking a skilled and self-driven CATIA CAA developer to join our team and take ownership of developing and maintaining our application. As a developer, you will have significant autonomy and responsibility in shaping the technical direction of the project. 

  • Develop and maintain custom CATIA V5/V6 applications and plug-ins. 
  • Extend CATIA functionality using CAA RADE (C++) to support spot weld placement, sequencing, accessibility, and process validation. 
  • Collaborate with welding engineers and process planners to translate manufacturing needs into technical software solutions. 
  • Conduct functional and unit testing to validate software accuracy in real-world welding process scenarios. 
  • Document system designs, workflows, and updates for both users and technical teams. 
  • Maintain system security and implement the best practices for data protection. 
  • Provide regular progress updates and documentation. 

 

What should you bring along 

 

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Mechanical Engineering, or related field. 
  • 3+ years of hands-on experience in CATIA V5/V6 customization using CAA (C++). 
  • Solid understanding of CATIA data models, assemblies, and design methodologies. 
  • Experience developing or supporting manufacturing applications, ideally in welding process planning. 
  • Proficient in C++, Visual Studio, object-oriented design, and debugging tools. 
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills to work with cross-functional engineering and manufacturing teams. 
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities. 
  • Excellent English verbal and written skills. 
  • German communication skills will be a plus.
