What awaits you

 

  • Develop and Implement Financial Strategies: Create and execute comprehensive financial strategies that align with the company's long-term goals and objectives.
  • Financial Leadership: Oversee all financial activities, including budgeting, forecasting, financial planning and analysis, and reporting.
  • Risk Management: Identify, assess, and mitigate financial risks to safeguard the company’s assets and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Board Interaction: Work closely with the Board of Directors, providing financial insights and strategic recommendations to drive business growth.
  • Business Involvement: Engage in various business segments, understanding and influencing business operations and strategies.
  • Tech Industry Experience: Utilize prior experience in the tech industry to guide financial decisions.
  • Team Management: Lead and mentor the Finance Manager, ensuring efficient financial operations and reporting.
  • Organizational Culture: Actively contribute to shaping the organizational culture, promoting values of engagement, responsibility, and proactive behavior.
  • Process Improvement: Assist in defining and refining company procedures and processes to enhance operational efficiency.
  • Stakeholder Communication: Communicate effectively and diplomatically with stakeholders at all levels, articulating positions clearly and persuasively.

 

What should you bring along

 

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field. MBA or CPA preferred.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience as a CFO or in a similar senior finance role.
  • Experience working in the tech industry is highly desirable.
  • Previous experience interacting with Board-level stakeholders.
  • Experience in managing and mentoring finance teams.
  • Proactive and resilient with the ability to navigate complex situations.
  • Team player with the ability to collaborate effectively across departments.
  • Strong leadership and organizational skills.
  • Excellent command of both spoken and written English, German would be nice to have.
