What awaits you

 

We're seeking an experienced Platform Cloud Architect to design and implement a robust Machine Learning development platform on AWS, centered around AWS SageMaker. The ideal candidate will lead the architecture and development of scalable, secure, and efficient cloud solutions for our ML initiatives.

 

  • Design and implement a comprehensive ML platform using AWS services, particularly SageMaker
  • Develop cloud-native architectures that support ML workflows, data pipelines, and model deployment
  • Ensure security, scalability, and cost-effectiveness of the ML infrastructure
  • Collaborate with data scientists and ML engineers to optimize cloud resources for ML workloads
  • Implement CI/CD pipelines for ML model deployment and management
  • Provide technical leadership and mentorship to the development team
  • Stay current with AWS and ML technologies, recommending improvements to our infrastructure

 

What you should bring along

 

  • University Degree or Advanced Diploma in a Software Engineering related discipline, preferably in Computer Science, or equivalent experience
  • 5+ years of experience as a Cloud Architect, with a strong focus on AWS and Java
  • Extensive knowledge of AWS services, especially SageMaker, EC2, S3, Lambda, Step Functions, and IAM
  • Passion and interest in implementing ML platforms on cloud infrastructure
  • Understanding of ML workflows, model training, and deployment processes
  • Proficiency in infrastructure-as-code tools (e.g., Terraform, CloudFormation)
  • Experience with containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes)
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills
