What awaits you
- Align with Product Vision & Roadmap: Work with the main Product Owner to develop, agree on, and implement the product vision and roadmap, ensuring it aligns with organizational goals and customer needs
- Support Requirement Research & Evaluation: Collaborate with the main Product Owner to research, understand, and evaluate product requirements based on customer feedback, market insights, and business objectives, converting these into prioritized product backlog items
- Assist in Backlog Prioritization & Maintenance: Continuously support the prioritization and maintenance of the product backlog, with a focus on ensuring customer alignment and maximizing product value, in collaboration with the main Product Owner
- Acceptance Criteria & Evaluation: Define and uphold acceptance criteria and "definition of done" standards for the Feature Teams. Evaluate the developed product scope and coordinate with the main Product Owner on release or rework decisions
- Provide Technical Leadership: Act as a technical leader to the Feature Teams, working under the main Product Owner’s guidance to ensure cohesive progress and alignment with product goals
- Remove Development Impediments: Identify and resolve impediments that affect the development process within the product scope, escalating issues to the main Product Owner when necessary
- Stakeholder Liaison: Serve as the primary point of contact for internal and external stakeholders on behalf of the main Product Owner, maintaining effective communication and transparency regarding the product’s progress and needs
- Standards & Compliance Support: Support the main Product Owner in developing, implementing, and refining methods, processes, and standards to ensure compliance with legal and organizational requirements for product delivery
- Collaborate on Performance Measurement: Continuously measure and track performance in partnership with the Feature Teams, using insights to inform iterative improvements in collaboration with the main Product Owner
- Ensure Resource Transparency: Provide transparency to the main Product Owner regarding available resources, competency needs, and implementation status, helping to inform decisions and efficient resource allocation
- Manage Product Scope: Oversee the defined product scope, including development, operations, and continuous improvement, to ensure it meets the objectives set by the main Product Owner and aligns with the overall product strategy
- Backlog & Budget Management Support: Assist the main Product Owner in prioritizing backlog content and managing budget distribution, ensuring resources are allocated to maximize customer value
What should you bring along
- Bachelor's degree in Infromatics/Business Administration or similar field
- At least 5 years of experience on a similar role is required
- Ability to represent the assigned product scope effectively to all relevant internal teams, stakeholders, and, when needed, external partners
- Skill in prioritizing and managing the backlogs for the Feature Teams, with consideration of input from internal teams and, when necessary, external partners
- Proficiency in defining clear and actionable product requirements for the Feature Teams
- Ability to assess and validate product implementations against defined acceptance criteria, ensuring quality and alignment with goals for the Feature Teams
- Competence in establishing and structuring an effective that supports seamless communication and collaboration with Feature Teams and relevant teams and partners
- Capability to define, request, and escalate the necessary funds (resources, skills, budget) required for successful product implementation to higher organizational levels, as well as relevant process partners and line functions
- Authority to manage technical escalations to the next level in the Product Owner hierarchy, working collaboratively with other Product Owners as needed
- Excellent English verbal and written skills
- German communication skills will be a plus
