What awaits you
- Global S/4HANA Rollout & Financial Transformation
- Tight collaboration with business stakeholders to understand processes and requirements in the Automotive Industry (BMW Group environment)
- Process optimizations using SAP S/4HANA capabilities
- Customize SAP FI (GL, AR, AP, Asset Accounting, etc.) within an existing template solution
- Support implementation of new financial processes for parties in Germany, US, and UK
- Replace legacy financial functionalities from the PFIFF system
- Ensure proper integration with SD and external systems (e.g., Kafka/cloud)
- Act as a key contributor in monthly go-lives and continuous deployments
- Analyze financial process requirements and contribute to solution architecture
- Coordinate with design teams, delivery hubs, and external consultants when applicable
- Be part of a team that values knowledge sharing, problem-solving, and center around efficiency and reliability to drive overall success
What should you bring along
- Minimum 3-5 years of experience in a similar role
- University Degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Business or a related field
- Deep functional expertise in SAP FI and financial process design in S/4HANA
- Strong experience with financial integration to SD and MM
- Familiarity with CO (Controlling) is a strong plus
- Advanced experience with agile methodologies and multinational project environments
- Customer facing experience in the previous roles
- Dialog with technical/development team and definition of detailed blueprint for development requirements
- Advanced experience with requirements discovery and analysis
- Advanced experience with creation of business blueprint, customization based on a blueprint, creation of test cases, testing, solution reviews, training of user, go live support, hypercare support
- Knowledge of standard finance operations, taxes, intercompany flows, etc.
- Ability to debug and validate developments in a functional testing context
- Experience in the Automotive industry is a plus
- High analytical thinking skills and level of quality awareness
- Self-motivated and a high willingness to learn and actively engage with business stakeholders
- Proactive mindset and ability to work independently
- Well-structured and organized working methodology
- Excellent English verbal and written skills
