Who we are

 

We are looking for a dynamic and passionate Senior IT Recruiter to join our HR Marketing and Recruiting team at BMW TechWorks Romania . As an IT Recruiter, you will play a crucial role in attracting, sourcing, and hiring top IT talent to support our digital transformation and technological innovation. You will work closely with hiring and HR managers to understand their staffing needs and develop effective recruiting strategies in a fast-paced environment. 

 

What you'll be doing

 

  • Talent Acquisition: Leading recruiting projects and manage end-to-end recruiting processes. Source, attract, and recruit top IT talent through various channels, including job boards, social media, networking and recruitment events.
  • Candidate Screening: Conduct initial phone screenings and interviews to assess candidate fit, focusing on technical skills, experience, and cultural alignment with our company’s values.
  • Pipeline Development: Develop, together with the HR Manager, annual hiring strategies. Build and maintain a pipeline of qualified IT candidates for current and future job openings, ensuring a continuous flow of talent.
  • Stakeholder Management: Collaborate with hiring managers and cluster heads to understand specific job requirements, creating detailed job descriptions and developing targeted recruitment plans.
  • Employer Branding: Promote BMW TechWorks Romania as an employer of choice within the IT local community by representing the company at job fairs, tech meetups, and other industry events.
  • Data Management: Manage the end-to-end recruiting process, ensuring accurate and timely candidate information is maintained in our recruiting tools. 
  • Market Insights: Providing market analyses and reports. Sharing insights to hiring managers about talent trends, salary ranges, and competitive landscape within the IT sector.
  • Process Improvement: Ensure an exceptional candidate experience. Continuously seek opportunities to improve recruitment processes, identify the newest trends in the IT recruitment industry and take them into action. 


What you'll bring along

 

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Information Technology or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in IT recruitment, preferably within a corporate environment or a recruitment agency. Experience in the automotive industry is considered a plus.
  • Knowledge and experience in using AI tools for recruitment with a focus on optimization
  • Relevant experience in high-volume recruitment
  • Strong Excel skills (at least intermediate-level formulas such as VLOOKUP, pivot tables, and charts)
  • Technical Acumen: Strong understanding of IT roles, technologies, and terminologies, with the ability to evaluate technical skills and qualifications effectively.
  • Networking Ability: Proven ability to build and maintain strong relationships with IT professionals and industry networks.
  • Analytical Skills: Strong analytical and decision-making abilities, with experience using data to inform recruitment strategies and decisions.
  • Tools Proficiency: Proficient in using applicant tracking systems (ATS), HRIS, and recruitment tools. Experience with LinkedIn Recruiter and other sourcing platforms is mandatory.
  • Organizational Skills: Strong organizational and multitasking skills, with the ability to manage multiple hiring projects simultaneously.
  • Excellent command of both spoken and written English.
