What awaits you
- Being the bridge between global BMW Hubs and the BMW Techworks Romania Hub to synchronize and enable worldwide training initiatives for our colleagues.
- Managing and organizing Hackathons, Classroom Trainings, JAM Challenges, and other learning events for Software Development, Data Engineering, DevOps Engineering, Data Science, and Infrastructure Operations (InOps) teams.
- Designing, implementing, and managing training programs that enhance employee skills, performance, and productivity while aligning with global BMW guidance.
- Playing a key role in identifying training needs, developing materials, and overseeing the effective delivery of learning initiatives to ensure employees are equipped with the knowledge and skills required to succeed.
- Assessing training needs across departments through surveys, interviews, and performance evaluations to identify skill gaps and development opportunities.
- Collaborating with managers to align employee development with organizational goals and identify areas for growth.
- Designing and developing comprehensive training programs, workshops, and e-learning modules tailored to organizational and industry standards.
- Updating and adapting training content to reflect current trends, regulatory requirements, and business objectives.
- Organizing and overseeing training sessions to ensure they are well-structured, engaging, and impactful.
- Coordinating with external trainers or consultants when specialized expertise is required.
- Monitoring and assessing the effectiveness of training programs through participant feedback, assessments, and key performance indicators.
- Continuously improving training methods and materials based on outcomes and participant input.
- Managing the training budget effectively, ensuring optimal use of resources.
- Leading a team of trainers or facilitators, if applicable, to deliver high-quality learning experiences.
- Coordinating with HR and department heads to ensure training aligns with the organization’s strategic objectives.
What should you bring along
- Bachelor's degree in Administration, Business, Engineering or a related field.
- Minimum 1 - 3 years of experience in a similar role is required.
- Collaboration, teamwork and the ability to inspire and motivate others.
- Competency to create events around specific technical topics for our technical colleagues (e.g. Azure, Amazon, Software Development, etc.).
- Advanced MS Office skills (especially Excel and PowerPoint).
- Strategic thinking and problem-solving.
- Excellent command of both spoken and written English, German skills will be a plus.
