Junior Technical Consultant with German (Windows, Linux & SQL) Job

Brasov, RO Timisoara, RO Cluj, RO

Project Overview

 

We provide 2nd  Level Support for critical and non-critical applications in the automotive production industry for a major Bavarian automotive company. The purpose is to maintain, control and support the applications in the production lines.


What you can expect & what we want you to do

 

  • Providing Technical Support and maintenance activities for the applications that we are responsible 
  • Working with the PIC Processes of the customer (Incident, Problem, Change Management)
  • Cooperating with the Users and the Customers 
  • Participating to daily meetings with the team, weekly meetings with the customer
  • Performing root cause analysis, logs analysis
  • Solving the issues and tickets that arise in daily business
  • Daily monitoring of the systems (finding performance issues in time and solving the problems proactively); Installation of regular patches for the applications 
  • User Management and managing rights
  • Database activities in Oracle: checking the DB Jobs, DB Tunning
  • Creating and continuously maintaining the documentation

 
What you are good at & what you’ll need to win

 

  • At least 1 year of experience in the application management services
  • Experience with Oracle SQL, Linux and Windows is mandatory
  • Experience with Bash and PowerShell scripting would be nice to have
  • Excellent German and English skills
  • ITIL certification would represent a plus
  • Experience in the automotive industry is nice to have
