Referred to as Java Competence Center, we co-create and co-accelerate with key players in any field. Without being limited to any business unit, we demonstrated our deep Java development expertise by delivering SaaS platforms in various domains; Web Applications in e-Commerce, Automotive, Telco, Insurance, Banking and Public sector, even Big data and scientific applications. Our current emphasis lies on PaaS solutions, with a specific focus on Docker, Kubernetes, Open Shift, AWS, and Cloud Foundry. With the increasing demand for Microservices projects, we have created a reference architecture for our major clients, researched various frameworks, and identified the ones that are highly sought after by the large enterprises we collaborate with


Our team is working on a cutting-edge project called Cloud Immersive, which involves the development of a cloud-based immersive solution for our client, a consulting company that provides services primarily to clients in the automotive, manufacturing, and transportation industries, having also their own internal projects, such as digitalization and e-mobility initiatives. Our solution will utilize the latest technologies and best practices in infrastructure as code, serverless application development, and front-end development to provide a seamless and engaging experience to the users. 

 

What you'll be doing
 

  • Regular activities throughout the software development cycle, including requirements engineering, software and system design, implementation, testing, documentation
  • Develop and maintain AWS architecture for applications
  • Ensure that the team follows best practices for AWS development
  • Provide technical guidance and mentorship to the team
  • Conduct code reviews to ensure code quality and compliance with standards
  • Stay up to date with the latest developments in AWS technology
  • Write unit tests, perform code reviews, and adhere to coding & branching principles
  • Engage in knowledge sharing sessions with peers from similar projects

 
What you'll bring along
 

  • Bachelor’s degree / Master’s degree in a software engineering-related discipline (preferably in Computer Science); or equivalent experience
  • At least 6 years of experience in a similar position
  • Strong understanding of Java
  • Knowledge of AWS services, such as EC2, S3, Lambda, RDS, etc 
  • Experience with CDK, Typescript and Kafka (or at least a subset)
  • Experience with DevOps processes and tools such as Git, Jenkins, and Docker
  • AWS certification is a plus
  • Excellent command of both spoken and written English
