We are seeking a talented Angular Developer to join our innovative team and drive the transformation of customer experiences in the financial services industry. As part of a dynamic squad, you will be responsible for building and maintaining Angular applications that cater to the diverse needs of our client, a prestigious British multinational financial services company. With a wide range of products and services spanning insurance, investment, and retirement, this project aims to empower customers through intuitive web-based tools while ensuring seamless internal operations. 
 
What you'll be doing
 

  • Design, develop, and enhance web-based applications that allow customers to manage their insurance policies, investment accounts, and retirement plans. Your creative problem-solving skills will be essential in delivering intuitive user interfaces and seamless navigation experiences
  • Working closely with stakeholders, business analysts, and UX designers, you will understand and analyze user requirements. Your insights and technical expertise will contribute to the refinement of user stories, ensuring alignment between business objectives and technical implementations
  • Responsive UI/UX Design: Collaborating with UI/UX designers, you will implement responsive designs that provide an intuitive and visually appealing user experience across different devices. Your attention to detail and knowledge of Angular's capabilities will ensure consistent branding, usability, and accessibility across the applications
  • Code Maintenance and Optimization: You will take ownership of the Angular codebase, ensuring its quality, maintainability, and performance. Collaborating with other developers, you will conduct code reviews, identify areas for improvement, and implement optimization strategies to deliver responsive and efficient applications

 
What you'll bring along

 

  • Bachelor’s degree / Master’s degree in a software engineering-related discipline (preferably in Computer Science); or equivalent experience
  • At least 4 years of experience in a similar position
  • Strong understanding of JavaScript, HTML, and CSS
  • Goode knowledge of Angular 2+ and TypeScript 
  • Knowledge of Continuous Integration, Continuous Deployment and release strategies
  • An advanced understanding of software testing
  • Experience with webpack and npm
  • Experience with Git, Agile methodologies and JIRA
  • Excellent command of both spoken and written English
