Role Description:


The primary objective is to manage configurations on large user groups and maximize their productivity through efficient and secure use of ICT tools and software applications.
You will be a part of our NTT DATA EMEAL IT Team and will work in coordination with the team members from different countries.

 

What you can expect & what we want you to do

 

  • User Management, new hire system setups, end user training when necessary
  • Advises and assists users in solving problems related to software, networks and peripherals using available technology 
  • Analyzes basic business needs and recommends ways to optimize the available tools in achieving business objectives
  • Provide essential online security advice and support
  • Provide Support for larger scope EUC initiatives/programmes (eg. Office365 implementation, Exchange migration, Intune/Autopilot)
  • Maintain excellent communication with all end users and understanding the needs and requirements from business to provide flawless service 
  • Provide essential online security advice and support
  • Addressing user tickets regarding software and other application related issues
  • Guide users with simple, step-by-step instructions when doing remote troubleshooting
  • Document technical issues and solutions in logs and escalate unresolved issues to the next level of support personnel
  • Ensure all calls/tickets are effectively managed and owned through resolution, in-line with documented procedures/ SLA targets  
  • Ensure adherence to Group IT policies 
  • Accountable for documenting technical solutions and changes to current processes and assist in keeping up to date relevant IT Support system databases to ensure group information is up to date and accurate
  • Work flexibly to ensure coverage of core business hours 08:00 am - 5:00 pm Monday to Friday. Out of hours, weekend and other site presence could be required in case of emergency

 

What you are good at & what you’ll need to win

 

  • Requires a minimum of 3-5 years similar industry experience.
  • Skills (Academic degree, other required or valuable knowledge, languages and level, ....): 
  • Good knowledge of Microsoft Windows OS – configuring and problem debugging
  • Basic knowledge of Linux and Mac OS – configuring and problem debugging
  • Good knowledge of Microsoft Active Directory Users and Computers/Azure AD - operating
  • Good knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite and Office 365 - operating, problem debugging, configuring and platform management (Office, Teams, OneDrive)
  • Good knowledge of Microsoft Exchange 2016/Exchange online - mailbox, resources and groups management
  • Good knowledge of Skype user configuration
  • Good knowledge of Android and IOS - mailbox configuration, apps configuration, etc
  • Advanced ability providing quality service and advanced customer service techniques to customers and manage their business needs.
  • Advanced troubleshooting skills and debugging
  • Advanced knowledge of processes and resources required to perform analytical and technical tasks on EUC computer systems, with knowledge of Network/Server/Cloud based systems and IT security.
  • Good communication skills
  • Good user and client management skills
  • Self-driven and motivated individual
  • Act as a team player to share information and knowledge so as to ensure service is consistent and at the highest level that can be achieved
  • High level of concentration and commitment with flexibility to work

 

       Nice to have: 

  • ITIL foundation certification
  • Experience with ServiceNow ITSM Platform
  • Good knowledge of Microsoft Server platforms 2012 R2, 2016
  • Power Shell Scripting 

 

       Languages:  

  • Fluent English (Verbal & Written)
  • German is a plus
