Who we are

Our client is one of the largest German insurance group, among the top 15 largest non-life reinsurance worldwide.
We are looking for an experienced Python Developer to support our client's development needs and use your core competencies and areas of responsibility across divisions.

What you'll be doing

Extension of previous architecture and applications in the area of backend container (Python for AI-controlled data aggregation, fraud KPI's) and API Mgmt with (hasura.io)
Feature development according to defined guidelines
Generate, implement and test concepts in collaboration with the team and the client
Constantly improve software quality (evaluate and incorporate new libraries, tools, and technologies; code reviews; refactoring; testing; etc.)
Refine and implement user stories with the DevOps team
Estimate requirements with the development team
Active participation in Scrum meetings

What you'll bring along

Bachelor’s degree in Informatics/ or similar field of study/or equivalent working experience is required
A minimum of 5 years demonstrable experience in a similar role is required
Strong Python skills
Previous experience working with PostgreSQL
Knowledge of Alembic, SQL Alchemy, Pandas, Tensorflow, Pytest
Experience of working in an Agile (SCRUM) environment
Ability to write clean and efficient code
Good spoken and written English (B1 and higher)
Very good spoken and written German skills (B2 and higher)
You are an analytical thinker, with a logical approach to solutions and problem solving
