Senior Infrastructure Specialist with Harbor Job

Who we are

Our client is one of the world's largest insurers and financial services groups. We are looking for an experienced Infrastructure Engineer with some previous experience working with Harbor to support our client's development needs.

What you'll be doing

Continuous deployment and continuous integration (CI/CD) management
Performance assessment and monitoring
Infrastructure management
Cloud deployment and management
Leading code reviews with an emphasis on both functional and non-functional requirements and adherence to architectural principles
Define, promote and support the team methodologies and processes and actively participates in team retrospectives
Ensures teams and stakeholders note and understand technical or team dependencies

What you'll bring along

Bachelor’s degree in Informatics/ or similar field of study/or equivalent working experience is required
A min 5-7 years demonstrable experience in a similar role is required
Experience working with cloud provider services of AWS, AZURE
Previous experience with Python or GO
Specifically CNCF (Cloud Native Computing Foundation), preferably for Harbor
Good knowledge of Kubernetes or EKS or ECS
Expertise in Development toolchain support - CI/CD pipelines, container schedulers, and custom applications
Knowledge of VNET/VPC & subnets, persistent volumes (e.g.: EBS, EFS, Azure Disk, Azure File), Ingress & Load Balancers, IAM, Logging and Monitoring services
Exposure to infrastructure-as-code frameworks such as Terraform
Working knowledge of Security in the cloud, especially around containers and Kubernetes
Track record of contributing to open source
Experience in the integration with following Container registries / Artifact repositories, Harbor, AWS Elastic Container Registry, Azure Container Registry, Docker Hub, Docker registry, Jfrog Artifactory
