Senior Technical Consultant with German (Linux & SQL) Job

Who we are 

 

We provide 3rd  Level Support for critical and non-critical applications in the automotive production industry for a major automotive company. The purpose is to maintain, control and support the applications in the production lines.
The Job consists in leading a team of juniors and experts in appli-cation management and software maintenance. The team supports and maintains applications in the logistics area in the automotive industry.
 

What you'll be doing

 

  • Perform maintenance activities for the applications that we are responsible for
  • Communication and strong cooperation with the users and the customers
  • Problem analysis and documentation 
  • Performing root cause analysis 
  • Occasionally configuring and optimizing of the application and infrastructure
  • Creating and continuously maintaining the development documentation 
  • Support of the assigned team members in technical solutions
  • Attendance in client meetings
  • Coordination and Execution of Know How Transfers

 
What you'll bring along

 

  • Bachelor’s degree in technical/non-technical field
  • Minumum 2 year of experience in the application management technical support or development
  • Experience with Linux/UNIX and Oracle SQL
  • Experience with AWS, XML and Shell Script would be nice to have
  • Experience in the automotive industry is nice to have
  • ITIL knowledge represents a plus
  • Excellent command of both spoken and written English and German
