Who we are

Our client plans to roll out the iTAC Manufacturing Execution System (MES) Software in all shop floors of its new division. Implementations increase with fast pace. NTT DATA Romania offers resources for the rollout, line by line, according to technical standards in green field and brown field projects.

And for this team, we are currently looking for a Solution Architect to enable the seamless data and information flow between iTAC and the shop floor level.

What you'll be doing

Project or technology expert (ICT / AOI / AXI)
Ensures strategy conformity and provides 3rd level support capabilities for own developed solutions
Is able to define solution lifecycle, ensuring compliance of architecture, security, change process
Assisting with choosing product service providers
Designing solution architecture – being a bridge inside the IT organization between the project and the product team, working closely with business to clarify needs
Requesting new features from Solution Owner (product focused) if available to fulfill demands
Supporting Solution Owner in technical specific aspects (defining technical requirements for a development team)
Responsible for functional specification release – prepared by his own or by supervising vendor (iTAC) in this work package – from the very beginning till the end of each project (ensuring that all changes are reflected in the documentation)
Use or propose improvements to improve existing solutions
Propose standard solutions over plants
Being a first contact point for Process Control System Engineer, PLC Expert, Service Team during implementation phase – if something is not clear in functional specifications

What you'll bring along

MES solution expert focused on iTAC projects with at least 5-7 years of experience
Deep understanding of production, logistics and quality processes / technologies
Automotive business experience and electronic production
Good English language skills
Travel locally and internationally if required
