Project Overview

The project involves 2nd and 3rd level technical support activities for extremely complex systems implemented in the plants of the greatest Bavarian automotive producer. The purpose of the systems is to control the customer’s assembly and body shop lines.

What you can expect & what we want you to do

Technical support and maintenance activities for the applications that we are responsible for
Work with the PIC Processes of the customer (Incident, Problem, and Change Management)
Communicate and cooperate with the users and the customer
Participate in daily meetings with the team, weekly meetings with the customer
Perform problem analysis and documentation, root cause analysis, logs analysis
Solve the issues and tickets that arise in daily business
Find performance issues in time and solving the problems proactively
Installation of regular patches for the applications
User Management and managing rights
Linux connections checks
Database activities in Oracle: checking the DB Jobs, DB Tunning, Tablespace management, managing the DB Links, DB Indexes etc.
Create and continuously maintain the documentation
On-call duty is required

What you are good at & what you’ll need to win

At least 2 years of experience in the application management services field with Linux and Oracle SQL
Excellent German and English skills
ITIL certification would represent a plus
Experience in the automotive industry is nice to have
