What you'll be doing
- Lead and develop the Infrastructure Competence Center, ensuring high-quality expertise, standardization, and innovation across all infrastructure domains
- Drive the successful delivery of infrastructure projects by providing guidance, governance, and subject matter expertise
- Establish and enforce best practices aligned with ITIL frameworks for service management, ensuring efficient and reliable operations
- Oversee managed services delivery, ensuring compliance with SLAs, continuous service improvement, and customer satisfaction
- Manage, mentor, and grow a team of infrastructure specialists, fostering a culture of collaboration, accountability, and continuous learning
- Act as a key stakeholder interface, aligning technical capabilities with business needs and strategic objectives
- Define and evolve the service portfolio of the Competence Center, including cloud, virtualization, storage, and networking solutions
- Ensure robust, secure, and scalable infrastructure architectures with a focus on high availability and redundancy
- Promote innovation by evaluating and integrating emerging technologies, including SaaS and modern cloud solutions
- Support pre-sales and solution design activities by contributing technical expertise and ensuring feasibility and competitiveness
- Drive knowledge sharing, capability building, and standardization across the organization
What you'll bring along
- Master’s or bachelor’s degree in related fields, preferably Engineering, Computer Science
- Minimum 5-10 years of experience in a similar role.
- Strong knowledge and hands-on experience in infrastructure projects and their full lifecycle
- Solid understanding of ITIL principles and their practical application in service delivery environments
- Proven management experience, including leading teams, developing talent, and managing performance
- Excellent people skills, with the ability to communicate effectively, influence stakeholders, and build strong relationships
- Deep understanding of managed services models, operations, and continuous improvement practices
- Broad and solid technical knowledge across infrastructure domains, including: Networking; Servers; Operating systems (Windows and Linux/Unix); Storage technologies; Virtualization platforms; Cloud services and architectures; Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) solutions
- A strong commitment to staying up to date with the latest developments and trends in infrastructure technologies
- Strategic thinking combined with hands-on problem-solving capabilities
- Ability to translate complex technical concepts into business value and actionable outcomes
- A results-oriented mindset with a focus on quality, efficiency, and continuous improvement
- Excellent command of both spoken and written English.
