What you'll be doing
- Providing Level 2 technical support and operational management for enterprise client devices and modern workplace services.
- Supporting Windows desktops, laptops, mobile devices, and related endpoint services to ensure secure, reliable, and performant user experiences.
- Resolving complex incidents and service requests escalated from Level 1 within agreed SLA timelines, while maintaining accurate ticket updates and documentation.
- Troubleshooting operating system, application, user profile, performance, connectivity, and device compliance issues.
- Managing device configurations, policies, compliance settings, and remediation activities through endpoint management tools.
- Supporting Windows build, patching, feature update, provisioning, and device lifecycle management processes.
- Assisting with device onboarding, refresh, migration, and replacement activities across enterprise environments.
- Troubleshooting Microsoft 365 Apps for enterprise client issues, including deployment, configuration, performance, and user experience problems.
- Supporting mobile device management for iOS and Android devices, including enterprise-managed and bring-your-own-device scenarios.
- Monitoring device health, compliance status, endpoint security posture, and performance indicators, and remediating non-compliant devices.
- Supporting endpoint security controls, including device compliance policies, Conditional Access integration, BitLocker, and endpoint protection.
- Supporting identity integration for endpoints, including Entra ID / Azure Active Directory, hybrid join, and related access scenarios.
- Supporting application packaging and deployment activities for Win32, MSI, and MSIX applications.
- Using PowerShell and automation to support endpoint management, reporting, troubleshooting, and operational efficiency improvements.
- Troubleshooting networking and performance issues impacting endpoint devices and user productivity.
- Maintaining and improving technical documentation, knowledge base articles, support runbooks, and operational procedures.
- Collaborating with identity, security, network, Microsoft 365, and endpoint management teams to ensure effective coordination, escalation, and service continuity.
- Supporting change and release management activities in line with ITIL processes.
- Providing guidance and mentoring to Level 1 support engineers to improve first-line resolution capability and knowledge sharing.
- Identifying opportunities for automation, service improvement, and operational efficiency across endpoint support processes.
- Ensuring all activities comply with security, governance, compliance, and audit requirements.
What you'll bring along
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
- Minimum 3- 5 years of experience in end-user computing, desktop support, or EUC engineering roles in enterprise environments.
- Hands-on experience supporting Windows 10 and Windows 11 enterprise environments.
- Experience working in service desk, managed services, or enterprise support environments.
- Experience supporting mobile devices, including iOS and Android, in enterprise contexts.
- Strong understanding of modern endpoint and device management principles, tools, and operating models.
- Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Endpoint Manager / Intune configuration, policies, compliance, and device management.
- Experience with Windows Autopilot, provisioning, Windows builds, patching, feature updates, and device lifecycle management.
- Understanding of Windows 10 and Windows 11 enterprise architecture, optimization, and troubleshooting.
- Knowledge of macOS and mobile enterprise management is desirable.
- Experience supporting endpoint security controls, including device compliance policies, Conditional Access integration, BitLocker, and endpoint protection.
- Understanding of identity integration for endpoints, including Entra ID / Azure Active Directory and hybrid join.
- Experience with Microsoft 365 Apps for enterprise deployment, configuration, optimization, and troubleshooting.
- Knowledge of application packaging and deployment methods, including Win32, MSI, and MSIX.
- PowerShell scripting and automation knowledge for endpoint management, troubleshooting, reporting, and operational support.
- Experience troubleshooting networking, connectivity, profile, application, and performance issues impacting endpoint devices.
- Familiarity with incident, problem, change, and release management processes.
- Excellent troubleshooting and analytical skills, with a methodical and structured approach to problem resolution.
- Customer-focused mindset with strong communication skills and the ability to support both technical and non-technical users.
- Ability to manage multiple incidents, priorities, and SLA-driven activities effectively.
- Good documentation and knowledge-sharing practices, with the ability to maintain runbooks, KB articles, and technical procedures.
- Proactive attitude toward automation, service improvement, and operational efficiency.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment.
- Microsoft Certified: Modern Desktop Administrator Associate certification is desirable.
- Microsoft 365 Certified: Endpoint Administrator Associate certification is desirable.
- Microsoft 365 Fundamentals certification is desirable.
- CompTIA A+ certification is advantageous.
- ITIL Foundation certification is desirable.
- Excellent command of both spoken and written English and German.
