What you'll be doing
- Providing Level 2 support, administration, and optimization for Microsoft Power Platform services, ensuring platform stability, security, and reliable service delivery.
- Troubleshooting complex incidents and service requests across Power Apps, Power Automate, Power BI, Copilot Studio, connectors, data sources, and integrations.
- Resolving escalations from Level 1 support teams within agreed SLA timelines, while ensuring accurate ticket updates and operational documentation.
- Performing root cause analysis for recurring or complex issues and implementing preventative fixes to improve service reliability.
- Supporting deployment, configuration, and lifecycle management of Power Platform environments.
- Assisting with solution packaging, releases, and environment promotions across development, test, and production environments.
- Supporting data sources and integrations, including Dataverse, SharePoint, SQL, Microsoft Graph, APIs, and other enterprise connectors.
- Monitoring platform health, usage, performance, gateways, datasets, reports, and refresh processes to identify and resolve issues proactively.
- Supporting governance and security controls, including Data Loss Prevention policies, environment roles, permissions, and platform access management.
- Assisting citizen developers and business users with troubleshooting, best practices, usability improvements, and reliable solution design.
- Maintaining and improving technical documentation, runbooks, operational procedures, and knowledge base articles.
- Collaborating with Microsoft 365, security, integration, and business application teams to ensure effective coordination, escalation, and service continuity.
- Supporting change and release management activities for Power Platform solutions and environments.
- Providing guidance and mentoring to Level 1 support teams to improve first-line resolution capability and knowledge sharing.
- Identifying opportunities for automation, service improvement, and operational efficiency across Power Platform support processes.
- Ensuring all activities comply with security, governance, compliance, and audit requirements.
What you'll bring along
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
- Minimum 3- 5 years of experience supporting Microsoft Power Platform or related Microsoft 365 technologies in enterprise environments.
- Hands-on experience supporting Power Apps, Power Automate, and Power BI in production environments.
- Strong understanding of Microsoft Power Platform services, low-code solutions, and business application support.
- Experience troubleshooting Power Apps, including Canvas Apps and Model-driven Apps, as well as related configuration and usability issues.
- Experience supporting Power Automate cloud flows and awareness of desktop flows for automation and process support.
- Experience troubleshooting Power BI datasets, reports, gateways, refresh schedules, and performance-related issues.
- Knowledge of Dataverse administration, data troubleshooting, environment management, and platform configuration.
- Experience supporting connectors and integrations, including SharePoint, SQL, Microsoft Graph, APIs, and enterprise data sources.
- Understanding of Power Platform governance and security, including Data Loss Prevention policies, environment roles, permissions, and access controls.
- Familiarity with Power Platform Admin Center for monitoring, diagnostics, environment management, and operational support.
- Basic understanding of identity and access management, including Entra ID / Azure Active Directory concepts.
- Basic PowerShell or scripting knowledge for administration and automation is desirable.
- Experience working in a service desk, managed services, or support environment.
- Familiarity with incident, problem, change, and release management processes.
- Strong analytical troubleshooting skills across applications, data, integrations, and platform services.
- Ability to support both technical teams and business users with a customer-focused mindset and attention to usability and reliability.
- Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills, with the ability to explain technical topics clearly.
- Structured and methodical approach to incident resolution, root cause analysis, documentation, and escalation.
- Good documentation and knowledge-sharing habits, with a proactive attitude toward automation and service improvement.
- Microsoft Certified: Power Platform Functional Consultant Associate certification is desirable.
- Microsoft Certified: Power Platform App Maker Associate certification is desirable.
- Microsoft Certified: Power Platform Developer Associate certification is advantageous.
- Microsoft 365 Fundamentals certification is desirable.
- ITIL Foundation certification is desirable.
- Excellent command of both spoken and written English and German.
