What you'll be doing
- Managing and supporting Microsoft Teams environments, enabling effective communication and collaboration across the organization.
- Administering Teams policies, users, groups, meetings, messaging, calling, apps, and integrations in line with business and security requirements.
- Troubleshooting and resolving Teams-related incidents, service requests, and operational issues within agreed timelines.
- Supporting voice and video conferencing capabilities, including meeting configuration, user experience, and service performance.
- Supporting Teams telephony features, including calling policies, phone system configuration, and Session Border Controller coordination.
- Managing integrations between Microsoft Teams, SharePoint, OneDrive, and other Microsoft 365 services to support enterprise collaboration.
- Using PowerShell scripting to support Teams administration, automation, reporting, and troubleshooting activities.
- Optimizing Microsoft Teams usage and performance in virtual desktop and virtual workplace environments.
- Monitoring Teams service health, usage, policies, and configuration compliance to ensure secure and reliable service delivery.
- Creating and maintaining user guidance, operational documentation, runbooks, and knowledge base articles for Microsoft Teams services.
- Training users and supporting adoption activities to improve effective use of Microsoft Teams collaboration and communication features.
- Collaborating with technical and non-technical stakeholders to clarify requirements, resolve issues, and improve collaboration services.
- Ensuring all activities comply with security, governance, compliance, and audit requirements.
What you'll bring along
- Degree in Information Technology, Computing, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
- Minimum 3- 5 years of experience supporting Microsoft Teams environments in enterprise organizations.
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft Teams administration, including policies, users, meetings, messaging, calling, apps, and integrations.
- Strong understanding of the Microsoft 365 ecosystem and how Teams integrates with SharePoint, OneDrive, Exchange, and Azure Active Directory.
- Experience supporting Teams voice and video conferencing features, including meeting policies, service performance, and user troubleshooting.
- Experience with Teams telephony and Session Border Controller coordination or management.
- Knowledge of PowerShell scripting for Teams administration, automation, reporting, and troubleshooting.
- Experience optimizing Microsoft Teams for virtual environments and enterprise collaboration scenarios.
- Strong troubleshooting skills, with the ability to resolve Teams-related incidents, service requests, and user experience issues.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to support, train, and guide technical and non-technical users.
- Strong documentation skills, with the ability to create user guides, operational procedures, runbooks, and knowledge base articles.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with internal teams, stakeholders, and service owners to ensure reliable collaboration services.
- Microsoft Certified: Teams Administrator Associate certification is preferred.
- Excellent command of both spoken and written English and German.
