We are looking for an experienced SAP TM Lead  with German to take end-to-end ownership of the Transportation Management workstream within M-DEEP transformation program.
M-DEEP is a global SAP S/4HANA transformation covering the Deliver-to-Fulfill value chain. SAP TM and SAP EWM operate on a dedicated platform in a side-by-side architecture with SAP S/4HANA Private Cloud ERP, and delivery follows the SAP ACTIVATE methodology.

In this role, you will act as the SAP TM transformation lead and sub-project manager, guiding the joint customer and NTT DATA team from process and data design through architecture governance and readiness for realization.

What you'll be doing

• Lead the SAP TM workstream end to end through the SAP ACTIVATE lifecycle and maintain alignment with the wider M-DEEP transformation program.
• Plan and facilitate Fit-to-Standard workshops, lead Fit-Gap assessments, and drive clear, traceable solution design decisions.
• Define and govern the SAP TM transformation roadmap, priorities, dependencies, deliverables, and quality gates.
• Own the end-to-end transportation process design, target operating model, and future-state data model.
• Define the future-state SAP TM solution architecture and ensure consistency with the program's side-by-side platform model.
• Lead integration design across SAP TM, SAP EWM, SAP S/4HANA Private Cloud ERP, and SAP Integration Suite, including dependencies with SAP SD, MM, Finance, and Yard Management.
• Provide design leadership across Transportation Planning and Execution, Freight Order Management, Freight Settlement, Carrier Management, Freight Tendering, Charge Calculation, and the Transportation Cockpit.
• Coordinate, coach, and enable customer IT professionals and NTT DATA consultants, establishing effective collaboration and knowledge transfer across the workstream.
• Represent SAP TM architecture and process decisions in governance forums and manage cross-value-chain dependencies with business, architecture, and implementation stakeholders.
• Prepare the workstream, its decisions, and required deliverables for a successful Ready-for-Realize status.
• Onsite travel to Germany is required on a schedule to be agreed based on project needs.

What you'll bring along

• Proven experience leading SAP Transportation Management workstreams in complex SAP transformation programs, ideally as a Workstream Lead, Transformation Lead, or Sub-Project Manager.
• Strong end-to-end SAP TM expertise spanning transportation planning and execution, freight order management, freight settlement, carrier management, tendering, charge calculation, and the Transportation Cockpit.
• Demonstrated capability in transportation process design, target operating models, data models, and solution architecture.
• Solid SAP ACTIVATE experience, including Fit-to-Standard workshops, Fit-Gap assessment, solution design governance, and preparation for the Realize phase.
• Strong integration knowledge across SAP TM, SAP EWM, SAP S/4HANA, and SAP Integration Suite, with a clear understanding of dependencies involving SAP SD, MM, Finance, and Yard Management.
• Experience guiding cross-functional, international teams and aligning customer IT, business, architecture, and consulting stakeholders.
• Strong leadership, facilitation, decision-making, and stakeholder communication skills, with the ability to influence without direct line authority.
• A structured and resilient approach to delivery, governance, risk management, coaching, and knowledge transfer.
• Strong communication skills and advanced English and German.
