We are looking for a Senior SAP S/4HANA ABAP Cloud Developer with strong logistics development experience to join our Custom Development team.
The role focuses on clean, future-proof ABAP Cloud development in SAP S/4HANA, aligned with SAP Clean Core principles and modern development paradigms such as CDS Views and released APIs.
You will work in an international setup, closely collaborating with onshore architects, functional consultants, and customers.

 


What you’ll be doing

 

  • Design, develop, and maintain ABAP Cloud-compliant solutions in SAP S/4HANA Private and Public Cloud
  • Implement custom developments primarily in the logistics domain (e.g. MM, SD, PP – depending on project context)
  • Develop and consume CDS Views as part of modern S/4HANA architectures
  • Develop modern ABAP RAP applications
  • Use released APIs, events, and extensibility concepts according to SAP Clean Core guidelines
  • Analyze business and technical requirements based on standard S/4HANA logistics processes
  • Ensure high code quality, performance, and long-term maintainability
  • Support technical design, reviews, testing, and defect analysis
  • Act as a senior technical counterpart for onshore teams
  • Participate in technical discussions and solution design sessions in English

 

 

What you’ll bring along

 

  • Senior-level experience in SAP S/4HANA ABAP development
  • Strong expertise in: ABAP Cloud development principles (On-Stack)
  • CDS Views (design, associations, annotations, consumption)
  • ABAP RAP
  • Modern S/4HANA development techniques
  • Solid development experience in SAP logistics processes
  • Proven understanding of SAP Clean Core strategy and extensibility concepts
  • Experience with: Eclipse and ABAP Development Tools (ADT), Released APIs
  • On-Stack and In-App extensibility (depending on project setup)
  • Experience in SAP S/4HANA projects is mandatory
  • SAP Certification "Backend Developer - ABAP Cloud (C_ABAPD)" is a plus
  • Structured, quality-oriented, and responsible working style
  • Strong communication skills and senior team mindset
  • English language skills at least Level B2 (spoken and written)
  • German language skills would be an advantage
