We are looking for a ServiceNow Platform Technical Administrator with German to join our team, to provide platform administration and technical support for two ServiceNow instances. This is a hands-on technical role responsible for ensuring platform stability, security, and operational excellence across the ServiceNow environment.

 

 

What you'll be doing

 

  • Administer and maintain two ServiceNow platform instances, ensuring high availability, performance, and reliability.
  • Perform platform configuration, administration, and ongoing operational support.
  • Plan and execute ServiceNow release upgrades, patch management, and Automated Test Framework (ATF) testing.
  • Manage data imports, exports, and foundation data integration activities.
  • Support the initial setup, configuration, and security hardening of the second ServiceNow instance.
  • Plan, implement, and maintain MID Servers and related connectivity.
  • Configure and support Single Sign-On (SSO) integration.
  • Manage application transport and promotion processes across Development, Test, and Production environments.
  • Monitor platform health, troubleshoot technical issues, and implement corrective actions.
  • Maintain platform documentation, technical procedures, and operational standards.
  • Collaborate with development teams, application owners, and infrastructure stakeholders to ensure smooth platform operations.

 

 

What you’ll bring along

 

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent experience
  • At least 4-7 years of hands‑on experience as a Platform Technical Administrator, ideally in ServiceNow context
  • Extensive hands-on experience administering the ServiceNow platform.
  • Strong knowledge of ServiceNow platform administration, configuration, and operational support.
  • Experience with platform upgrades, patch management, and Automated Test Framework (ATF).
  • Experience managing data imports, exports, and foundation data.
  • Knowledge of ServiceNow security best practices and platform hardening.
  • Experience with MID Server installation, configuration, and maintenance.
  • Experience configuring and supporting Single Sign-On (SSO).
  • Understanding of deployment and transport management across Development, Test, and Production environments.
  • Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
  • Strong communication skills and advanced English and German.
