Known as the DevOps Competence Center, we support teams across all business units by delivering end‑to‑end expertise in CI/CD, Cloud‑native engineering, Infrastructure as Code, Kubernetes platforms, and observability. Focused on Docker, Kubernetes, OpenShift, AWS, Azure, GCP, and Terraform‑based automation, we design reference architectures, standardize delivery models, and enable microservices‑driven environments for our strategic clients.

 

Our client is a leading automotive company, driving innovation through advanced digital solutions and connected vehicle technologies. Within a complex enterprise environment, the organization is expanding its cloud capabilities and building secure, scalable, and standardized platforms to support modern applications and business solutions. We’re looking for an Azure Cloud Platform Engineer to implement and operate the Azure cloud foundation required for secure, reliable, and scalable enterprise solutions. In this role, you will collaborate with architects, application teams, security specialists, and DevOps teams to design and maintain cloud infrastructure, automate deployments, and ensure operational readiness while adhering to established security, compliance, and governance standards.

 

 

What you'll be doing

.

  • Design, implement, and maintain Azure cloud foundations supporting enterprise applications and business-critical solutions
  • Deploy and configure Azure infrastructure components following enterprise architecture and security standards
  • Implement and maintain SECP (Security & Compliance Platform) foundation components within the Azure environment
  • Configure and manage Azure Entra ID, including identity management, authentication, authorization, and RBAC concepts
  • Design and implement secure Azure networking architectures, including virtual networks, subnets, private endpoints, network security groups, routing, and connectivity components
  • Configure and maintain private access solutions to ensure secure communication between cloud resources and enterprise systems
  • Implement and manage secrets management solutions using Azure Key Vault and related security practices
  • Develop and maintain Infrastructure-as-Code solutions using Terraform or similar automation tools
  • Automate cloud infrastructure provisioning, configuration, and operational processes
  • Design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines supporting application and infrastructure deployments
  • Integrate security and compliance checks into deployment pipelines and cloud operations
  • Configure logging, monitoring, alerting, and observability solutions using Azure-native tools and enterprise monitoring platforms
  • Support operational readiness activities, including creation of runbooks, support documentation, and operational procedures
  • Collaborate with security teams to implement vulnerability management, security scans, and compliance requirements
  • Perform performance monitoring and smoke testing to ensure platform stability and scalability
  • Support troubleshooting activities related to Azure infrastructure, networking, access management, and deployment processes
  • Optimize cloud environments for performance, reliability, scalability, and cost efficiency
  • Collaborate with Cloud Architects, DevOps Engineers, Application Teams, Security Teams, and Product Owners within Agile delivery teams
  • Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives related to cloud engineering,

 

What you'll bring along 

 

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Informatics, Engineering, or equivalent practical experience
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in Cloud Engineering, Azure Platform Engineering, DevOps, or Infrastructure Engineering roles
  • Strong hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure cloud services and enterprise cloud environments
  • Proven experience designing and implementing Azure infrastructure components, networking, and security configurations
  • Strong knowledge of Azure Entra ID, RBAC, identity management, and access control concepts
  • Experience with Azure networking concepts, including VNets, private endpoints, NSGs, routing, and hybrid connectivity
  • Experience with Infrastructure-as-Code practices, preferably using Terraform
  • Experience designing and maintaining CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps or similar platforms
  • Strong understanding of cloud security principles, compliance requirements, and enterprise security standards
  • Experience with monitoring, logging, observability, and operational support processes in cloud environments
  • Experience creating operational documentation, runbooks, and support procedures
  • Knowledge of automation and scripting using PowerShell, Bash, or similar scripting languages
  • Experience supporting production environments and troubleshooting complex infrastructure issues
  • Understanding of high availability, scalability, backup, disaster recovery, and performance optimization concepts
  • Experience collaborating with architects, security teams, developers, and business stakeholders
  • Ability to provide technical guidance and communicate complex cloud concepts to different audiences
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Experience working in Agile Scrum environments
  • Excellent communication skills in English, both written and spoken
