Software Integrator (Build Management & CI/CD)

We are seeking a skilled Software Integrator to join our engineering team and take ownership of software integration activities across multiple development streams. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in build management, continuous integration, build verification, and CI/CD pipeline development. This role requires close collaboration with software developers, testing teams, and system architects to ensure reliable, automated, and high-quality software delivery.

 

What you'll be doing

 

  • Manage and maintain software build environments for multiple projects and product releases.
  • Design, implement, and optimize CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins and related automation tools.
  • Configure, maintain, and troubleshoot Jenkins jobs, shared libraries, agents, and distributed build environments.
  • Develop and improve automated build, integration, packaging, and deployment processes.
  • Execute and monitor build verification testing (BVT), smoke testing, and integration testing after each build.
  • Analyze build failures, identify root causes, and coordinate resolution with development teams.
  • Integrate software components from multiple repositories and ensure compatibility across product versions.
  • Maintain version control and branching strategies in collaboration with development teams.
  • Prepare release candidates and support software release management activities.
  • Improve build performance, reliability, and pipeline efficiency through automation and optimization.
  • Create and maintain build documentation, integration procedures, and CI/CD best practices.
  • Support infrastructure for automated testing and continuous delivery.
  • Monitor build metrics, pipeline health, and integration quality indicators.
  • Collaborate with QA teams to ensure automated test execution is integrated into the delivery pipeline.
  • Participate in process improvements aligned with DevOps and Agile methodologies.

 

What you'll bring along

 

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related technical field (or equivalent experience).
  • Minimum 3+ years of experience in software integration, build engineering, or DevOps-related roles for Automotive Projects.
  • Strong hands-on experience with Jenkins, including Pipeline as Code (Declarative and Scripted Pipelines).
  • Experience designing and maintaining CI/CD pipelines for complex software projects.
  • Strong understanding of build management concepts and software delivery lifecycle.
  • Experience with Git and modern branching strategies (GitFlow, Trunk-Based Development, feature branching).
  • Knowledge of build automation tools such as Maven, Gradle, CMake, Make, or similar.
  • Experience with Linux environments and shell scripting (Bash).
  • Familiarity with Python, Groovy, or PowerShell scripting for automation.
  • Experience troubleshooting build and integration issues.
  • Knowledge of automated testing frameworks and build verification processes.
  • Understanding of software configuration management and release processes.
  • Experience working in Agile/Scrum development environments.
