Referred to as Java Competence Center, we co-create and co-accelerate with key players in any field. Without being limited to any business unit, we demonstrated our deep Java development expertise by delivering SaaS platforms in various domains; Web Applications in e-Commerce, Automotive, Telco, Insurance, Banking and Public sector; even Big data and scientific applications. Now we are focusing more and more on PaaS solutions - in particular, Docker, Kubernetes, Open Shift, AWS, Cloud Foundry. Since Microservices projects really took off in demand, we developed a reference architecture for large customers, studied a number of frameworks, singled out from them those that are most in demand in large enterprises with which we cooperate.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing and maintaining Eclipse-based plugins for security and compliance products. This includes designing and implementing new features, as well as troubleshooting and resolving issues with existing plugins. You will bring a real added value to our client, a cybersecurity and compliance company that specializes in protecting enterprise applications, particularly those based on SAP and Oracle software

What you'll be doing

Work under Agile methodologies in an international team
Design, develop, and maintain Eclipse-based plugins for our security and compliance products
Work with the product management team to understand requirements and translate them into technical specifications
Troubleshoot and resolve issues with existing plugins
Ensure high-quality code through testing and code reviews
Collaborate with other developers and teams to ensure consistent implementation of product features and functionality
Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies and trends in Eclipse plugin development

What you'll bring along

A University degree or advanced diploma in a software engineering-related discipline, preferably in Computer Science, or equivalent experience
At least 3 years of experience on a similar position is required
Application development experience with Java and Sprint Boot
Strong knowledge of Eclipse Plugin Development Environment (PDE)
Experience with PDE-related technologies, such as Eclipse Equinox
Knowledge of Eclipse architecture, including the OSGi framework
Familiarity with Docker, Kubernetes or other containerization frameworks
Experience with Shell Scripting and git
Working experience with: Oracle, PostgreSQL
Familiarity with build/deployment automation
Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English
