React Native Developer Job

Our client is a leading provider of insurance solutions, committed to delivering exceptional service and innovative products. We are seeking a skilled React Native to join our team and contribute to the development of cutting-edge mobile applications.

 

What you'll be doing

 

  • Develop and maintain mobile applications using React Native (without Expo)
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features
  • Implement backend services using NestJS and Node.js
  • Utilize AWS services (EC2, EKS) for deploying and managing applications
  • Manage package dependencies using Node and Helm
  • Set up and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Fastlane, Github Actions, AppCentre, ArgoCD, and Terraform
  • Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code in TypeScript, Objective-C, Java, and Python
  • Apply functional and declarative programming paradigms on the frontend and OOP, declarative paradigms on the backend
  • Design and implement layered architecture, custom hooks, Flux, Redux, ThunkMiddleware, and atomic design on the frontend
  • Use decorators, middleware, REST, and Domain Driven Design (DDD) on the backend
  • Develop and maintain microservices, three-tier architecture, service mesh, API gateway, and App of Apps on the platform
  • Implement security features such as Oauth/OIDC, biometrics, root/jailbreak detection, Firebase AppCheck, CloudFront, WAF, API gateway, JWT validation, and SOC/SIEM
  • Perform security scanning using SAST/DAST and AWS container scanning
  • Monitor and analyze application performance using Instabug, Adobe Analytics, CloudWatch, Datadog, and Splunk

 

What you'll bring along

 

  • Bachelor’s degree in Informatics/ or similar field of study/or equivalent working experience is required
  • A min 5-7 years demonstrable experience in a similar role is required
  • Proven experience as a Mobile Developer with expertise in React Native and Node.js.
  • Strong knowledge of NestJS and AWS services (EC2, EKS)
  • Proficiency in TypeScript, Objective-C, Java, and Python
  • Experience with CI/CD tools such as Fastlane, Github Actions, AppCentre, ArgoCD, and Terraform
  • Familiarity with package managers like Node and Helm
  • Understanding of functional, declarative, and OOP programming paradigms
  • Experience with layered architecture, custom hooks, Flux, Redux, ThunkMiddleware, atomic design, decorators, middleware, REST, and DDD
  • Knowledge of microservices, three-tier architecture, service mesh, API gateway, and App of Apps
  • Proficiency in testing frameworks and tools such as Jest, Detox, BrowserStack, PACT, Postman, and Grafana K6
  • Strong understanding of security features and scanning tools
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills
