Our current emphasis lies on PaaS solutions, with a specific focus on Docker, Kubernetes, Open Shift, AWS, and Cloud Foundry. With the increasing demand for Microservices projects, we have created a reference architecture for our major clients, researched various frameworks, and identified the ones that are highly sought after by the large enterprises we collaborate with.

As Senior API Solution Architect, you will be accountable for delivering effective solution designs within the Bank's API platform, taking the lead on the delivery from an API design perspective.
You will get the chance to design end-to-end API solutions to meet business needs within the context of a broader solution implementation. The successful candidate will contribute to overall solution planning, providing input into the factory estimation process as well as highlighting technical risks, issues and assumptions

What you'll be doing

•    Take a lead role and take ownership of complex integration deliveries. The strongest candidates will have a continuous improvement and innovative attitude
•    Review design artefacts from other API solution architects within the factory team
•    Define and derive standard methodologies in the API space, adopting industry standard methodologies and highlighting areas within the API factory that require remediation
•    Produce required design artefacts, independently or as part of a team
•    Present to the Bank's Architecture Review Board when necessary and engage with key partners in the enterprise architect function and across the business
•    Ensure solutions align with strategic architecture principles and direction

What you'll bring along

•    At least 7 years of experience in a similar position
•    Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
•    Proven experience of the Mulesoft Anypoint Platform or similar API management platforms
•    Relevant industry certifications are a plus
•    Experience in creation of Swagger or RAML definitions
•    3rd level degree in similar subject area or equivalent experience
•    Proven track record as solution architect in designing solutions for large-scale API integration projects and programmes working in complex, multi-vendor change delivery organisations
•    Deep knowledge and experience in REST API design
•    Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
•    Excellent English communication and teamwork abilities
•    Ability to work independently and in a collaborative team environment
•    Attention to detail and commitment to delivering high-quality solutions
