Junior DevOps Consultant with German Job

Project Overview

 

We provide technical support for critical and non-critical applications in the automotive production industry for a major Bavarian automotive company.


What you can expect & what we want you to do

 

 

  • Working within an Agile model- DevOps ITIL based- PIC Processes of the customer (Incident, Problem, Change Management)
  • Cooperating with the Users and the Customers 
  • Participating to daily meetings with the team, weekly meetings with the customer
  • Performing root cause analysis, logs analysis
  • Solving the issues and tickets that arise in daily business
  • Daily monitoring of the systems (finding performance issues in time and solving the problems proactively); Installation of regular patches for the applications 
  • User Management and managing rights
  • Configuring and optimizing of the Powershell and Bash scripts
  • Performing database activities in Oracle: checking the DB Jobs, DB Tunning, Tablespace management, managing the DB Links, DB Indexes etc.
  • Creating and continuously maintaining the documentation
  • Administrating the Tasks, cronjobs for the applications
  • Working with Confluence and Jira User Storys

 
What you are good at & what you’ll need to win

 

  • Bachelor’s degree in a technical field would be preferable 
  • At least 1 year of experience in the application management services/ DevOps
  • Experience with Oracle SQL, Linux and Windows is mandatory
  • Experience with Microfoft Azure Cloud
  • ITIL certification would represent a plus
  • Excellent command of both spoken and written English and German
