Senior Test Automation for FPGA

Brasov, RO Sibiu, RO Bucuresti, RO Timisoara, RO Remote, RO Iasi, RO Cluj, RO

In our Embedded Technologies department, we are focusing on client projects in the Automotive sector. The top-class services we provide consist mostly of software development and testing solutions for products such as Instrument Clusters and Head-up Displays, Control Units, Active and Passive Safety Systems (with a particular focus on Advanced Radar Systems) or even Low Level Drivers.

What you'll be doing

 

  • Create and maintain test automation for in-camera image processing
  • Maintain and extend CI/CD pipelines
  • Maintain and enhance test automation tools
  • Act as first-level contact for bug analysis and error handling of developed tests
  • Collaborate closely with imaging software developers and the embedded software development team
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of the automation process

 

 

What you'll bring along

 

  • Bachelor of Science in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Software Engineering, or related field
  • Min 3-4years of proven experience working with Python (Version 3 ideal)
  • More than 3 years of hands-on experience in developing test automation and designing test automation concepts for embedded systems (e.g. pyTest, Robot Framework)
  • Extensive experience in developing automated tests for low-level hardware systems
  • Proven track record in developing for embedded Linux systems (e.g. Yocto)
  • Very good to excellent knowledge of technologies such as CI/CD, Jenkins, GitLab CI, and GitLab
  • Proficient in multiple programming and scripting languages, including C++ (V14+) and Bash
  • Experience and solid knowledge in algorithm development, software architecture, and image processing
  • Familiarity with FPGAs or ASICs
  • Enjoy working independently and taking initiative
  • Excellent command of English
  • German language skills are a plus
