What you'll be doing

• Implementing and operating system platforms based on AIX.
• Identifying and resolving disruptions and performance bottlenecks while monitoring system capacities.
• Preparing and planning software deployments, ensuring smooth transition to production for small changes, release upgrades, and hardware refreshes.
• Coordinating customer-impacting activities with the client's application managers.
• Creating documentation and operational manuals, and executing handovers.

What you'll bring along

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or a comparable IT qualification.
• Minimum 3-5 years of experience in operating Unix/Linux-based applications.
• Strong knowledge of Unix-based server systems, particularly AIX.
• Proficiency in at least one scripting language (e.g., Bash or Ksh).
• Basic understanding of ITIL processes.
• Strong team and coordination skills, with excellent communication abilities.
• Confident demeanor with flexibility and independent problem-solving skills.
• Goal-oriented and structured working style, comfortable with both agile and conventional methods.
• Excellent command of both written and spoken English and German.
