By joining our project, you will be working on an initiative of the European Commission focused on creating a more efficient, modern and secure customs environment within the European Union. Being part of this initiative set on a 5 years’ timeline, you will have the opportunity to work on topics such as digitalization of customs processes, streamlining customs procedures to facilitate trade and reduce costs, harmonization of customs rules across all EU member states and combating fraud.

What you'll be doing
- Planning and implementing validation and testing processes to ensure services meet business requirements and service levels.
- Developing comprehensive test plans, test cases, and test scripts based on service design specifications.
- Executing functional, performance, and reliability tests to validate service readiness.
- Identifying, documenting, and tracking defects or issues, collaborating with development and operations teams for resolution.
- Providing quality assurance for service releases, infrastructure components, and configuration items.
- Ensuring compliance with industry standards, internal policies, and regulatory requirements.
- Maintaining detailed records and documentation of validation and testing activities.
- Supporting continuous improvement of testing processes and tools.
What you'll bring along
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field (A Master’s degree or MBA is preferred).
- Minimum of 7-10 years of experience in a similar role.
- Proven experience in service validation and testing within IT infrastructure projects.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to identify and resolve service issues.
- Proficiency with testing tools and methodologies (e.g., automated testing, performance testing, regression testing).
- Solid understanding of ITIL processes and best practices.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- High attention to detail and commitment to quality assurance.
- Relevant certifications (e.g., ITIL Foundation, ISTQB) are a plus.
- Excellent command of both spoken and written English (any other European language would be a plus).
