Senior AUTOSAR Software Developer

Who We Are

 

We are looking for an experienced Senior AUTOSAR Software Developer to join our automotive engineering team. You will be responsible for developing, integrating, and validating AUTOSAR-based software components for next-generation ECUs used in domains such as DCDC, body control, lighting, ADAS, powertrain, and EV systems.You will work closely with system engineers, architects, integrators, and project managers to deliver high-quality software in compliance with ASPICE and customer-specific processes.

 

 

What You’ll Be Doing

 

  • Develop, configure, and integrate AUTOSAR Basic Software (BSW) modules and Runtime Environment (RTE).
  • Implement and maintain Software Components (SWCs) according to architecture and system requirements.
  • Perform configuration using tools such as DaVinci Configurator/Developer, Vector CANdela, EB tresos, or Arctic Studio.
  • Debug, optimize, and ensure proper behavior of AUTOSAR modules on target hardware.
  • Analyze system and software requirements and translate them into AUTOSAR-compliant designs.
  • Collaborate with software architects to define interfaces, data elements, communication configurations (CAN, LIN, FlexRay, Ethernet).
  • Support architectural decisions for complex automotive ECUs.
  • Perform unit testing, integration testing, and debugging on hardware targets.
  • Ensure compliance with Automotive SPICE and customer-specific quality guidelines.
  • Participate in code reviews, design reviews, and problem-solving sessions.
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams (System, Test, Hardware, Vehicle Integration).
  • Support customer integration teams during validation phases.
  • Prepare documentation and contribute to release planning and effort estimation.

 

 

What You’ll Bring Along

 

  • University degree in Electronics, Automation, Computer Science, or Telecommunications Engineering.
  • Minimum 4 to 7 years of experience in automotive embedded software development.
  • Strong expertise in AUTOSAR Classic Platform (BSW configuration <-> SWC development).
  • Experience with AUTOSAR tools such as:
  • Vector DaVinci Configurator / Developer
  • EB Tresos Studio
  • Very good C programming skills (Embedded C).
  • Understanding of MCU architecture, microcontrollers, and low-level drivers.
  • Experience with communication protocols: CAN, LIN, FlexRay, Ethernet.
  • Experience with debugging tools (Lauterbach, CANoe/CANalyzer).
  • Good knowledge of version control tools (Git, SVN).
  • Nice to have knowledge of AUTOSAR Adaptive (ARA).
  • Experience with Functional Safety (ISO 26262).
  • Experience with Autosar security modules (SecOC, HSM).
  • Excellent command of both spoken and written English.
